He first adds you on steam and then he asks you to send an offer first with the trade, and he shows you that he has a trade offer waiting to be accepted on OPskins. If you are skeptical, as I was, he takes you to skype to screenshare where he shows you that you can cancel the offer if he does anything dodgy. Once you send the offer he asks you to type "I promise" that it is the items that were agreed upon - this gives him just enough time to accept the trade on his phone.
