Fairly simple, the scammer linked a collector's steam inventory, then tried to use the "item verification" scam-method, however, he came unprepared, as he didn't have a fake "middleman" for the verification.
Got mad when I said "jackpot-scammers" in our chat, totally lame attempt to scam.
