I'd like to open this up by saying that I definitely did perform a brokering-running scam back in 2016.  That is very clear and nothing can change that, so me being marked makes perfect sense.  Back then I was a stupid kid who had no sense of dignity and a poorly aligned moral compass.  Despite that I've felt very guilty about scamming somebody who I genuinely liked, all for a couple hundred dollars, which seems like a massive amount to a then-high schooler.  I've wanted to pay him back ever since I did what I did, but I never got around it until now for personal reasons.  I know that what I'm saying is true, and my former victim believes me as well, but I would understand if you didn't.

In 2016 I stole 120 keys, and today I've re-established contact with the person I scammed and paid them back the cash equivalent of 120 keys through PayPal.  I can't really make a judgment on if he's forgiven me but I've forgiven myself for my actions.  In the end, I'm submitting this appeal because I still play the game and I would like to make simple trades and use marketplace.tf every now and then, not really getting too involved in trading, especially for profit.  It would be really nice if I could get my scammer tag reconsidered, so I could stop walking around bearing a mark of shame wherever I go for something stupid I did years ago.  I did not pay him back solely to get my tag removed; I paid him back because it was the right thing to do, and now my conscience is clear(er)  I know that actions have consequences, and if you are unable/unwilling to remove my ban I understand completely.

I would also like to add that the alternate account I have listed belongs to my brother.  At home we sometimes share the family computer, hence the same IP address logged for both of our accounts.  I also apologize if I did not upload my evidence screenshots correctly.  I have censored some personal information in these screenshots, my real name and the PayPal address of my victim.  If there is any more information that you would like, please let me know.  Thank you for your time and consideration.
